really confused

Ok i bought the m3 ds real for my DS. I'm pretty sure i can play DS roms without having to purchase any thing else, is this correct. My next question is do i need to buy anything else to play nes or snes games, if so what should i get. This would really help calm my nerves. I keep reading about ez flash and cyclo something but i'm not sure which is best for everything

 

You dont need to purchase anything else to play DS, NES or SNES games. The cart will be able to load DS games by default, NES and SNES games will have to run through emulators.

EZFlash and CycloDS are competing flashcarts. You dont need them if you already have a cart.

 

thank you very much, i just kept looking at how to's on youtube and they'd add the ez flash for gba, the problem is you never know how old the things are and if what you get is better equip t to handle it all

 

You need a slot 2 card to play GBA games. The EZ 3-in-1 is one of the more popular and is set up for directo compatibility with the EZ V.

 

GBA is the only thing that requires extra hardware. To play GBA games you need a slot 2 RAM expansion. Nintendo makes one, as does M3 and EZflash.

If you bought the M3 real ultimate pack then you have a RAM expansion already. If you don't have one then you can get the M3 expansion or the EZFlash 3in1 (RAM expansion, GBA function and rumble pack) for about $20.
