1.It has wireless connectivity. 2.It has picto chat. 3.It has a tv tuner enabling yo to watch tv on ure ds for free. 4.It has a movie player, which is conviniently priced. 5.Its touch screen...cool. 6.Double screens, so easier to navigate. 7.Big screen. 8.Backward compatibility. 9.Action replay compatibility. 10.voice activated, with mic, which predicts endless possibilities.
Well i have a DS and not a PSP but there are things in the that the PSP has also. The PSP does in fact have wireless connectivity, if you dont add up the size of the DS's two screens the PSP has a bigger screen, the PSP is going to have a movie player if not already, and PSPS is sure to have some type of chatting service, althought you wont be able to draw or anything.
1 Psp is wireless 2. You can browse the web with psp (try that DS) 3. PSP just got here, i am sure a tuner is on the way 4. movie player?? HA!!! Not needed bc it has its own dvd quality movies and you can also rip dvd and movies from your cpu to psp 5. Does the touch screen actually make the games any better??? 6. Horrible screens on DS (i have a gameboy SP and both screens for the Ds are the same size as the SP's screen even though the DS is much bigger than the SP) talk about wasted space on a handheld 7. Big screen????? Where?.... You mean small screen. You must be referring to the PSP's BIG SCREEN. If you add the pixels together on both screens on the DS, the PSP still has more pixels available. PSP has the best LCD screen available. Movies and games look better than any HD tv is capable of displaying. You need a LCD or Plasma tv to match the quality. 8. DS has an advantage here with its library of games but that may short lived. The psp v1.0 already has a gameboy emulator and 1.5 V psp will more than likely so follow with even more. Snes, genesis, nes emulators. I am sure DS could not play PSP games. Games played from the memory stick is also just a few hop and skips away. That means you will be able to make a copy of a game your friend may have for yourself or download it from the net. 9. action replay comes out for every system so that is irrelevant. 10. Possibilities are not endless with the DS b/c it does not allow you to access your CPU. Psp is a mp3 player, movie player, the most powerful handheld available (PS2 squeezed into the palm of your hands), better sound than DS, 2 gig is already avaliable for those who need more memory, and it also display pictures. PSP is by far superior
hey if someone walked up to you today and gave you $300 bucks after you were allowed to play both the DS and PSP for a day, you would not choose the DS that is for sure.
The only thing the DS has over the PSP is it's longer battery life, which is a big deal to have. But the PSP is an amazing portable(yes I own one). With the ability to play mp4s from duo stick memory cards, and home brew apps are already being developed, this little system has much more of a future than the DS ever will. Let's face it. Nintendo messed up here and Sony one in my opinion.
I have a DS, but i have to admit that the games suck majorly! I am waitin til i can get a PSP for christmas or something.
I admit that double/touch screen is something new, but nintendo is... well nintendo. Every game is a pastel-colored-mario-like and they have to use that touch screen in every damn place. All games are just tech demos.
Well that may seem funny to you but thats my opinion, i like the games that the psp has... Ive never been that interested in Mario, Yoshi, Wario, and games like that.
I really have nothing against the DS, its just that is was a major disappointment. I expected a bunch of new nintendo games to come out and stuff and i found games like Puppy Times. I havent played this game so im not gonna say crap about it but im guessin its a kiddy game. If its not someone tell me otherwise but i was waitin for games like NFSU2 and stuff... I guess it was my fault for not waiting for the PSP to come out but i was really drawn in by the touch screen and pictochat. Im trying to get a PSP also... LOL
