I was using the guide that allowed you to copy mutiple dvds to one dvd-r. I was wondering is there a way to create dvd menus once i re author the movies using dvd shrink.
Not exactly. You'll have to reauthor them in a more advanced tool. DVDLab pro, tmpgenc dvd author, Scenearist, etc.
Is the reauthoring dvds the same in tmpegenc as in dvd shrink. I am familiar with the software but usually I am not dealing with .vob and.ifo files. So I was wondering how do I go about importing the the video files into tmpegenc so that I can reauthor them.
Tmpgenc plus is an encoder. Tmpgenc DVD Author is an authoring tool. Don't confuse the two. DVDShrink is for shrinking authored DVD's that are too large. I think TDA can take .vob and reauthor, but I'm not sure. I do know that DVDLab can do it easily. Authoring is what takes an existing movie (usually in mpeg-2 format, but can be previously authored into vobs) and making the vob's, ifo's and bup's, ready to burn.
Ok I did not mean to confuse the two when I mention tmpegenc in my last post I was always referring to the dvd authoring software. I am aware of both. If you can help with how to author these movies in dvd lab that would be helpful because I actually like that one better then tda it is just that most ov my movies are usually m2v which can not be authored by dvd lab.
