Hi, I am having problems with my Medion DVD CD/DVD writer. It is a rebadged Pioneer 106, and has had a firmware update a couple of months ago. However, it has never been able to write CDs in DAO mode. CDRwin does not like the drive either and does not allow recording. Running ASPI check i get: WINDOWS ME APIX.VXD Version 4.6 (1021) Size 22603 WNASPI32.DLL Version 4.6 (1021)Size 45056 'ASPI is properly installed and fully operational' is shown but greyed out. Has anyone else had similar problems and rectified them? Help would be really appreciated! Thanks F
