Ive read the guides and maybe Im missing something but how do you put in menus so that when you re encode two films to one DVDr you can select the second movies without skipping through the first? Perhaps Ive misread or just missed this info in the guides but help me if you can please Cheers gurry
Thats not possible with Recode 2. When you use the "Copy entire DVD to DVD feature, You can remove certain features but in this case you are actually replacing the unwanted parts with something else. (still pictures, etc). By doing this, Recode keeps the structure of the DVD intact and the menu working. When you use the "Remake a DVD" feature you are just adding one title after another, with no menu. The titles play in sequence. You might try TMPGEnc DVD author. You can add your own menu that would do just what you want. It has a 30 day free trial, Heres a guide for putting two DVDs together with a menu: http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/tmpgenc_dvd_author.htm Frank _X_X_X_X_X_[small]motorcycle racer computer newbie Sony VAIO Suzuki GSXR1000[/small]
Cheers fasfrank Thought that wa the case - Ive got the full working TMPGenc dvd author - never played with the option of files over the max allowed for a dvdr (TBH never occured to me) I have instant copy 8 too so I can shrink it down using that! Thanks mate Good stuff - and the guide is well easy to use (even for an experienced tmpg dvd author user like me) gurry
