want to get a virus protection/adware program.I don't mind spending money on good one.Have become leary of free ones.They seem to cause more problems than help.I speak of Adaware,which seems to be touted here.Their forum pages alone freaked me out.Again looking for some advice running on xp.Also,does windows make any thing for this?I have done searches to no avail. Hey dalliss, I use Avast for virus protection. Works fantastic for me. I was using Norton but found it useless. My computer was slowly dying and Norton was finding no virus. I was told about Avast, downloaded it at avast.com. It found and killed several viruses. It will protect your e-mail,p2p,p2pchat,system and individual folders. Worth looking at. Hope this helps.
