I do a lot of analog capturing via DVDXpress for later DVD burning. I don't have much problems editing programs with no comercials since the tools I have allow me to trim at the begining and end of the piece easily. The thing is I recently started capturing a foreign comedy show and I want to remove the ads and join the fragments before I burn to DVD. Any recommendation will be welcomed

Well, I downloaded a trial and works fine. The thing I noticed is that when I play the edited file using Windows Media Players it gives me an error at the end. It doesn't affect the clip. It just gives an error message. Have you encountered this too? Does it affect the DVD making?

Never mind. The playback error of the edited file didn't translate into DVD playback error. The software does an excellent job cutting, but the auto ad detection is not perfect so I had to go over the file manually to set the cut points correctly. That's one reason I'm not buying the software. The other, well, I just found a free software that's enough for the type of editing I'll be doing. It's called "Mpg2Cut2"

    PS Thanks for the input...Appreciated.
