I have a Matshita multi drive that burns DVD-r/RW and DVD-RAM. Not realising the disc made that big a difference I brought some WhiteLabel 4.7GB DVD-R for less than 50p each. They work on cheap imported Chinese DVD player but not my PS2 or my expensive Panasonic DVD player!! Is this down to my DVD burner of the DVD's? has anyone had any experience with a Matshita multi drive or White label disks? I'd be interested in your experiences with them. Many Thanks.

I also have the same drive Datawrite classic yellow label from www.blankdiskshop.co.uk work well with this drive. This drive is very picky about the media u use. The PS2 as a DVD player is crap from my experince and has only played a few bak ups i have made while the XBOX has played them all.
