    Hi, Just burnt my 11th coaster, no idea why its playing up so much, i have 2 DVD Drives, both of which are cheap £15 OEM ones, but I’m sure i never had so much trouble before the last ban wave.

    High end PC, Both drives have latest FW, Updated my Bios, ImgBurn 2.5.1.0 and all burnt at 4x or less using DL Singapore Verbatims.

    I 10:23:23 -> Drive 1 - Info: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS40 NL02 (G:) (ATA)
    I 10:23:23 -> Drive 2 - Info: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203D SB01 (H:) (ATA)

    Failure rate is about 60%, some .iso's burn fine, some fail halfway others just won’t verify after writing.

    Any suggestions?? I’m all out of ideas :(

    You sure it's the drive and not the media? Have you even tried other media to make sure?

    You should post a log of your failed burn either here, or at the IMGBurn forum (if you're still checking this thread).

    Thx for your replies, but i have since re-installed win 7, and burnt ODST using my last disk and it worked fine =D Will update once i have more disks. Seems odd that a re-install changed anything though, but time will tell.
