Record direct tv

    Can anyone advise me if it is possible to record direct tv programmes direct to pc, and type of tv card I need

    yes you can. you just need a capture card. (i.e winfast capture card)
    this is the capture card i have in my computer.

    just connect your directv reciever straight to the capture card. it will work just like a regular t.v. basically. you will be able to watch the directv on you monitor while its recording and then when its done recording then you can edit the video file that it stores on your computer. ill be back to check on you later. so if you have any quesitons for me then just post a reply and ill answer em.
