Hope I am in the right forum. I am using i/o magic pc pvr dr-pctv100 to watch and record tv. When I record it is saved as a mpeg file I believe. I whenever I record it to a dvd using nero I can watch it on my computer's dvd player such fine, but it wont work in none of my dvd players. Can someone help me with this?
If the DVD was Created and Burned Correctly then there isn"t any Reason why it shouldn"t work on your DVD player so maybe it isn"t the DVD"s that are the problem but maybe it is your DVD player that doesn"t support Burned Media?? I would suggest that maybe you take one of your Burned DVD"s that Plays Fine in your PC and Take it to a Friends Place and Try it on there DVD player or even go to a Big electronix store and Try the Disk in a Bunch of there Display Models to see if they will play the Disk and then you will get an Idea if the Problem is the DVD or your DVD Player..... You could also Try useing a Different Brand of Blank DVD Media to see if your DVD player will Play them You should also Burn your DVD"s at the Slowest speed Possible (2x) as Burning at too high of a Speed can Make the Disk Un-Playable in DVD Players..... Also Maybe you should author your Files to DVD useing a Different Method.... You might also want to try a Proper DVD authoring Program to add your Menu"s and Chapters and to burn to DVD... "Tmpgenc DVD Author" is a Easy Program to use and it works well or if you want to Make More advanced Looking DVD"s with Nicer Menu"s and More Features Maybe try "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" which is what I use and Haven"t made a Coaster yet with it out of over 1000 Movies.... Good Luck
I haven't had a problem when I make back up copies of my dvd'd I use toyo media and burn the back ups with dvd decrypter and dvd shrink. Burned over 100 and no coasters. Just having problems with this for some reason
