Well, as the subject shows I recorded Monday Night Raw last nite. I have used VideoReDo to take out the commercials cutting the completed file size from a little over 8gigs to 5gigs, but thats still way to much. It is saved in mpeg format and I was just wondering if anyone knew of anyway to trim down on the file size without losing any real quality to the show itself. Would like to archive shows since getting the tv tuner but at 5gigs an episode its going to get out of hand really quick. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try AutoGK encode to XviD and play around with the size. I think even if you brought it down to 2 gb (depending on how long the show is) you would not see any loss on quality.
    Good Luck
