recording from dish satelite to dvd.

    If your satellite service is like mine, you will have to have the sat. receiver tuned to the station you want to record. Connect the sat receiver to the recorder and the recorder to the TV. The recorder will have to be, power on, [not operating in a recording or playback mode] This should be automatic] when watching TV
