I was wondering if there is anyway of recording game emulator music.Im using a snes and megadrive emulator on my pc and would like to record some of the music. Is this possible and if so what would I need to use?? Any help would be much appreciated.thanks!!!
What you can do is set up a wave editor such as Audacity http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_tools/audacity.cfm and record the music right as it comes off of your sound card. Its a pretty handy little tool and is great for recording small projects here and there. Pretty easy to use as well. Make sure you get that enables exporting for MP3, I can't remember off hand but I believe it tells you how to..
If you're emulating snes then you must have zsnes the premier emulator of super nintendo. It does far more than emulate it also can copy scenes and sound. I did this a couple of years ago but its only gotten better go here for the forum and below if you don't have the emulator. http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB2/ http://www.zsnes.com/ http://www.zsnes.com/index.php?page=files
