Hello, please check the audio recording setting in your PVR whether is it change to where your plug in the audio cable e.g CD audio, Aux.... By the way, in another tread, Minion did mention about uaing InterVideo DVR for better recording control, quality and better Sound options too.

Ok i found the probleme. I can reacord the movie and the sound in the "CD Audio" Line. But the sound quality in terrible (Like in background). So i download the intervideo DVR software to try. It it the same result.
I try to upgrade my ASUS A7N8X motherboard (Audio card included) driver. Still the same. The seller told me to buy a new external sound card (Good seller !!). Anyboby meet this problem ? How to manage it ?

YO , try downloading the lastest driver and PVR from www.leadtek.com.tw. As long as you have 16-bit sound whether it is embedded or ext sound card, it should still be the same. I'm quite curious of what format are you copying video? I do encounter some 'split sec' jerky noise during DVD NTSC copying but the overall sound effect is solid not "like in background" and I wrote to Leadtek support this morning and I believe they will get back in 1 day or 2. I've been using this TV Tuner on both my old and new CPU and they are both having embedded sound and not ext. sound card.

I have already updraded to the latest driver provided (5.13.1.3300). I noticed i have only 3 VDM WINFAST TV drivers installed instead of 4 as the upgrade notice mentionned (The VDM audio capture driver is missing, but i can't find it anywhere). Is it the cause ?
I upgraded also POVR software => no improvment.
I try many video and audio format and nothing where improving the audio.
As i can't join Leadtek (false email on their tawain site) i fell very embarassed to solve my problem.

    Hello,
To what I can remember, there are only 3 driver to update not 4... I might be wrong. I would suggest that you check with Leadtek support on your problem and I'm sure you will get your reply in 1 day or 2. Don not use their contact email as no one will write back. Go to download drivers page and you will see an inquire icon on the top left corner, just use that for technical questions inorder to get quick reply.

    Hello,

I post this in another tread and thought that you might want to know as well :

After all the trial and error for 2 weeks, I finally come to a conclusion that the Leadtek WinFast TV2000XP Expert is having conflict with my new Abit NF7 motherboard which having Nvidia nForce Chipset, addition to that it also clashes with my Nvidia FX5600 Ultra VIVO Graphic Card too. The TV Tuner was working fine on my old Compaq Presario P1.8Ghz and only started to go bonkers after switching over to my new system plus causing my Nvidia drivers to go crazy too.

Well, after taking out the TV Tuner and removing the PVR software, my new system seems to be back to normal again. Probably is time for me to move on to a Compro VideoMate Gold Plus TV Tuner and check if they are compatible. A review of the Compro VideoMate Gold Plus here http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/compro-gold-plus/ and kindly help with your comments whether is it a good buy.

Hello, After trying The Compro VideoMate which cost double the price of Leadtek WinFast TV2000XP Expert, my problem still persist and the video is worse than my Leadtek TV Tuner.

I suspected that it might be an IRQ conflict and after switching to another PCI slot, everything is fine now and my Leadtek Expert TV Tuner is superb. Try going to Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, view resources by type, IRQ and see if your Leadtek TV Tuner is sharing IRQ with other device. Try to have your TV Tuner on 1 IRQ alone and stay away from devices esp. Network, Graphic Card and Sound Card. After fixing IRQ, re-install drivers and PVR again to make sure everything is fine.

Yo guys, I've downloaded the latest Leadtek WinFast TV2000XP Expert drivers and they are GREAT! A must have if you want to set PC to hibernate (S3) mode and will wake up to do TV recording and hibernates again after that. Finally everything is alright and fully functioning for me now. Superb MAN!
