Hello my name is Mike and i just bought a Sony HDD Digital Camcorder and then last night I went to a concert and i was in the front row and i got really nice video but the sound was really distorted. All the other sound of the music came out well but the base was so bad that it muffled the speaker. Is there a way i can keep the original sound but lose the base? Is there a program i could buy that would make it easy for just reduce the base and keep the rest of the original sound. If you could help me out i would really appreciate it. Here is a link to one of my clips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vkzAg4eqYw thanks Mike
One way. This assumes the file is now on the PC and you have a way to demultiplex (separate) the audio so that it is now a wav or mp3. (VirtualDub would do this if it was an AVI and Audacity can be used to manipulate the audio). If the result was satisfactory, it can be saved as a .wav and VirtualDub used to join the modified audio back to the video. Audacity program http://superb-east.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/audacity/audacity-win-1.2.6.exe Talk about bass reduction with Audacity. http://forums.minidisc.org/lofiversion/index.php/t16825.html
What's the final destination for the file.Do you want to leave it as AVI to play on a divx player or was it going to be a DVD or VCD and what is the audio in the files mp3, ac3? Drag the file onto Gspot. http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip
i wanted to leave it as an avi so i could watch it on my comp without all of the base that ruins the entire video. the video is just terrible how it is not with the base.
right now they are just video clips that are mpeg format. what i want to do is remove the audio and fix the base situation i got going on and then re-insert it back into the video clip so it sounds better.
Download VDub and install the codecs. Run VirtualDubMod and drag the file onto it. Streams > Stream List > Save WAV Minimize Vdub or close and reopen after Audacity is finished. Run Audacity and drag the file on to it. Edit as required. File > Export as WAV. In VDUB Streams > Stream List, double click on the audio stream (hatch marks) to disable it. Use the 'Add' button to open the new wav from Audacity. Right click on it and select 'Full processing Mode' then 'Compression' Select 'Lame MP3' and a suitable format (48000 128 CBR Stereo) to test. Click OK then Video > Full Processing Mode > Compression > Xvid > Ok. File > Save as.. ok so i get to the point where i have exported the wave file from virtual dub and after i get that file into audacity i try to play that file in audacity all it does is make a 1 second screech noise. but if i try to play the file i exported from VDub its plays fine. Any Help
Codec= AC3 Info= 0xbd[0x80]:48000Hz 448 kb/s tot , 6 chnls (3/2 .1) Stat= Codec(s) Installed This is on the original mpeg file that i took straight from my camcorder
For Audacity to use it, it must be converted (it won't handle ac3). VirtualDubMod AC3 to WAV Streams > Demux save file as filename.AC3 Use Headac3he with azid.dll to convert ac3 to wav. Headac3he http://www.digital-digest.com/software/d...02&ssid=0&did=1 Plugin, add to Headac3he folder http://www.pcrepaircentral.com/dlldownload_19534.html
i cant get this headache program to work. its all bugging out and givig me there error messages when i start it up. its v.0.23
disregard my last comment i got the audacity program to accept my new wave file. now when using audacity do you know how to manipulate it so that i sounds alright?
