Hello, i have these files that are about 700 mb each... They are encoded with the XviD codec and have an AC3 audio stream (386kbps CBR). My question is... how do i encode these babies so i will get regular 2.0 sound, keep the video quality, and get these to reduce size to about 350 mb?

Well if you re-encoded to ~64k 2 channel audio, then each part would have to be ~155mins long for you to be able to keep the video. Even without audio, each part would have to be over 2 hours long to be under 350MB's. So basically since each part is probably more like 45mins you would need to re-encode the video to lower quality as well as re-encoding the audio in order to get it down to 50% size.
