I have a 40GB Western Digital hard drive that has firmware corruption to the extent where:
Windows and the BIOS knows the model number of the drive
    The drive spins up
Windows/Linux/PS3 will not see the drive though in Disk Management.

Is there any utility I can use to reflash the firmware on the drive?

Here are firmware files for my HD, how do I flash these?
