I have about 30 minutes of footage taken at my wedding. The camera (Panasonic digital 8) was left running on its tripod to record our reception. Unfortunatley the auto focus has not worked correctly and the whole video is blurred.
Is it possible to refocus this either through software or by some optical device?
My new wife would be tremendously impressed if this could be done...
    Thanks in advance
    Dave

AFAIK, not without some very sophisticated (and very expensive) equipment. If the source material is damaged (blurry), that is probably the best that you will have for an output.

I was expecting that to be the case.
    Thanks anyway

It quite simply cannot be done. If it could be, then NASA would have simply used some sort of software to refocus the blurred pictures from Hubble (before it was fixed). If even NASA with a budget in the hundreds of millions cannot do this, then there is no software out there that can do it.

Well put. However, I try to stay away from saying "never" and "always" because you (almost) never know . . . . . <G>
