Reformatting

    I am deciding to reformat my C drive on my pc because its relly slow now...what do i need to do this? what will happen?do i need a recovery cd or what? help would be very much appreciated :)

    Well first of all if you reformat the drive everything on that partition will be erased. And if you only have one partition then everything on the drive will be erased. If you have a windows xp install cd then you can use that to reformat and reinstall windows.

    If i were you i would write down all the software that i have and make a backup of all the important stuff you may have on your hard drive. You will also have to reinstall all drivers for your motherboard, video card, etc.

    could anyone help me out with a copy of the win xp pro sp2 install disk so i can format my drive ?
