    Sorry,
Just went to their website and see my player is upgradeable.
Now my question is, does it work?

Has anyone done a BDP S300?

Good to hear. So you used the mod kit for a US BDP-S300 and now you can play Region B (EU) discs, right?

    Correct indeed.
A fairly difficult rework- about 7 wires from kit pcb to motherboard and bd rom aswell as a flash component with about 60 pins, so not for the faint hearted- i'd say you'd really want to be a very experienced solderer at a minimum. mine actually didnt work initially so i had to hook up my scope and debug- support from the provider was excellent and we got it going eventually- was due to one of the wires being too long to signal integrity was comprimised, after shortening it its now as good as gold- region a/b player for about 300 euro all in all- not too bad even for a cork boyee!!!!
    Happy camper now.
