Region free DVD player

    I'm looking to purchase a region free DVD player without HDMI. It just needs to be progressive scan and have optical outputs for 5.1. I've seen many of the same models on different pages, so apparently there seems to be only some that can be made region free. If anyone has a model they have now and likes it, please let me know. Internal PAL to NTSC conversion with at least 16mb is a must for jitter free playback.

    I own two region free dvd players one is a sony dvpns78h and a lg lda-831. the sony came region free and the lg I hacked and converted it to region free using info from videohelp.com both are progressive scan and up-convert to 1080p and both were under 100$ canadian I am extremly happy with the picture quality on both.
