    Hello everyone,

I read over at wikipedia that DS is a region free console.

I am planning to buy my DS from Dubai. However I will be getting my games from the US via amazon.
What I would like to ask is if anyone faced any problem with any given game regarding this scenario.

    Thanks in advance

The DS is, indeed, region free. You can buy a DS from Dubai and it will play games bought from the US or any other country for that matter.

The only difference between versions from the US and Japan, for example, is that the games from the US will be in English compared to games from Japan, which will be in Japanese.

When you go on Wi-fi it only lets you play "worldwide" or people from the region of the game.
You can still play your friends if you have their codes though, so its no major problem.
Just that if you want a random match up be prepared for it to be a bit slow dependant on where you are living.
