Why are you reinstalling? Many system problems may be solved without a reinstall. If it is a first time install then just put the disk in the machine and it will boot from the disk. If you are reinstalling then you would do the same thing with the exception of keeping your current file system intact, if that is what you want.

Just to let you know, if there is a problem on your machine a reinstall will not always fix the problem.

When I format my drives, I erase them first using a USB flopy disk drive ( $30-$40). First you'll need to find a windows OS bootdisk that lets you format drives. If you have a computer repair store they should have one or look around P2P sites and download.

Well I fixed that problem already, my friend (IT Professional) cam over and told me how to. However, thank you very much for the help.
