I was wondering if anyone else had problems with remanufactured inkjet cartridges. I've ordered these through several different companies and had problems with all of them. It seems like it's a crap shoot on whether I receive good cartridges or not. I've ordered from Supermediastore, Meritline and Abascus. Of course they all replace the cartridges if they're sent back in within 30 days, but the shipping eats up the savings by buying remanufactured. Anyone else have similar situations and hopefully a solution?
I have been ordering from Inksmile.com and am very happy. They have free shipping on orders of $40.00 or more.
@mrhilbily I normaly order on the weekend and get my cartriges on wednesday, so about a three day turn around.
HP HP 56 & 57 cartridges. Pretty common. I got caught up in the remanufactured sale prices Meritline and Supermediastore were having at times. The HP56 equivalent was $9.95 - $12.95 and the HP57 was $12.95 - $15.95. Some of the cartridges had no yellow and some no blue. Like I said in an earlier post, both companies and Abascus would replace the orders IF they were returned within 30 days. Shipping on returns is non refundable. I have a feeling that this is a pretty common problem because the replacements have always been made by a different company as the original shipment. I believe I'll try Inksmile next time.
Are you sure it's the ink cartridges? I've been using the remanufactured ink (generic), for over a year, in my Epson. So far, I've had one cartridge that was bad, and they replaced it after 4 months (Meritline.com) haven't had to use the replacement yet. I used Abacus inks for quite a while. The only reason I quit was because they raised their price too high. I just don't understand so many being bad for you. Ordering from different companies, and different brands, and they all are bad? I don't see [bold]all[/bold] of them being bad. I'm thinking your printer may have a problem............ Good luck!
@JVC Not all of them but quite a few. The replacements have ALWAYS worked fine as do the authentic HP56 and 57 cartridges. Before I give up on what I think is a bad cartridge, I'll go through all the stages of the cleaning processes to make sure.
