I burned a movie from my HDD on DVD-R using my VISTA. i.e. i didnt use any burn-software. Just click burn on the file (I have VISTA home premuime). OK it work fine. Now, something strange happend. I wanted to burn another movie from my HDD. I forgot to put a new blank DVD-R disc. What happend is that VISTA format my prebiuse burned disc and burn on that the new movie!!!! How the hall it happened? My disc is DVD-R not DVD-RW!!!!
you multissesioned it? meaning you can right more on it and its not (finalised) probably quite neat test your burns first.. although i think if it was the case you were lucky to play it on a stand alone dvd player... pc should be fine i woould think.
