I need to get remote assistance for my friend because when it comes to computers he doesn't know jack, I have a program but I need an easy way for him to install it, he has vista and I have xp, so I don't know how his works, anyway you guys can help? Or a good way to control a vista with xp via remote assistance???
I would recommend trying RealVNC. I've used it for helping family members in the past. It's free, but I'm not sure if it will work on Vista. Normally, I will use remote desktop, but some family members have XP home edition, which doesn't include remote desktop. Anyway, give it a try, it won't hurt.
