    Hello,

I do not have any virus that I know. All I would like to do is to remove unnecessary applications.

what do you have in mind that is unnecessary? I wouldn't use hijack this to do that, as hijack this only deletes some suspect files, not the folders and surrounding files that are linked to it. Go into your program files, see what you think to be no longer useful and delete it.

Okay. I alreay went to my control panel to remove some applications that I recognized but there are some that I just do not have any clue and are from Toshiba.

I guess I will just leave them there and do not use them, right?

i dont know why you want to get rid of them so bad, the only reason i can think of is to save space. I myslef have a Toshiba Satellite, but i have noticed that hijack this comes up with things like the touch pad software (if deleted it will no longer work), but if u want to remove the stuff you dont need then look up the file names under google, then find out what they are and see if they are what you want to remove.

I would advice you not to delete stuff like crazy. If you want to prevent them from comming up go to: start\run
msconf\startup then untick the ones you know that should not come on in the background.(Know what programs to stop, dont do enything else just untick the ones you dont want and them click apply and ok. I screen will pop up asking to restart, restart the comp and a next one will come up, just choose dont show this again, I think thats what it says. . Dont go messing with service, or enyother ones.OH right this (msconfig) so if you want to make eny changes enytime again.
