Hello. A friend took it upon himself to make his own subtitles, for a Thai DVD of mine (the English subtitles on it are ok, but could be improved). He has, however, put his name into the subtitles - in one or two places - as a signature of sorts. While I appreciate these efforts, I would like to not have these entries. How can I most simply take out individual subtitle entries and then author the disc again (ideally, to create an image file)? Thanks!
Rip the DVD to the hard drive. Run DVDSubEdit 1.File => Open Full Domain (select VTS_01_1.VOB) 2.Select the subtitle stream 3.Step to the sub 4.Press Ctrl-h to erase it - continue to step and erase as required 5.Final step is to save the subpics - Note that the change is immediate and cannot be undone. http://download.videohelp.com/DVDSubEdit/
I read the "cannot be undone" and so that hints that the save is immediate and that there is no re-authoring required. Is that correct? It's just then a matter of burning as normal? That would be very cool. Thanks.
Beautiful. I'll give you an in-thread report, asap (max 24hrs). Thanks. EDIT: It does work straight away, does not require re-authoring and you can burn the files immediately or create an image from them. Thanks. I am sure to use this tool in the future - for various tasks.
