Hey, i have a mp3 player that orders the songs by track number, i have found that if i change each track number to "0" it will alphebetise all the tracks for me. Im looking for a converter that could completly remove the track count for me so it will automaticly alpehbetise the songs (changing 1000+ track counts will be a huge pain in the ass for me. Im also looking for it to change the format/quality so i can squeeze more songs onto the mp3 player
Tag & Rename can move track numbers from multiple files at once. Here is the website = http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm Tag & Rename can't change bit rates or formats but dBPoweamp can. Here is the website = http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ Hope this helps.
Hey, i cant seem to figure out how to get the track number off in "tag&rename" could ya give me a pointer or two? thanks alot!
1) Once you have located the file you want to rename, check the box. 2) Click On F2 3) Then Look Under the [bold]rename variables[/bold] and look at which variables you want when you rename the files ie if you want the file to be just be called the title of the song, you'll want '%2' to be put in the 'file name mask' box (4) Then Click RENAME! done!
