put mec back into the xbox load the linux and u should see something that says turn off mod and something that says uninstall soft mod click on that and it will uninstall it
damn. I did that and now i can only play games i can't go to the dashborad. i don't HAVE a dashborard. When i try to go to the dashborad it gives me an error 13 sign. do i need slayers. damn.

thanks for that peace or advice TheShiz but if all els fails run mec and install it agin and ftp the ms back to xbox and copy to e drive and then take ur mod off
dude someone please help, i installed run linux and i created the ms dash backup, but i deleted the run linux from the saves manager so when i go to mechassult there is notin dere, how do i get my original dash back??
I found this FAQ on how to uninstall the soft-mod for xbox it works perfect i already uninstalled mine still dont know if it will still let you play on XBX LIVE. Removing SOFT-MOD with Splinter Cell Exploit Step 0.) boot xbox with system tray out and no game in Step 1.) on the UnLeash X blue installer screen go down to Settings Step 2.) at the settings screen go to system Step 3.) in system go down to Allow UnInstall YES and ( REBOOT! ) Step 4.) System tray should still be out to get back to the UnleashX Installer screen Step 5.) go to Restore MS BackUp Step 6.) go to Restore MOD BackUp Step 7.)
