ok, I know not what these things are nor if this question has ever been asked. So here it goes - is it possible to remove the little tv station identifier in the lower right (usually) corner. I have been taking VHS tapes I made a few years ago of movies that will never make it to DVD (The She Creature from 1957, Deadly Mantis, It Came From Hell, etc, etc, etc), using a plextor usb convert unit, converting them to mpg then using Nero, making them into dvd's (yea!)but all have that dang blasted thingie in the lower right corner. So is it possible to remove it and if so, which software? thanks for the help in advance.
just crop the video using "TMPGEnc" and that will give u a "letter-box" look of the film. i hopes this helps you
There is no really succesful way of removing that dam logo. There is a program called logobegone I have heard of but it is still not 100% at doing it either. I believe that it scrambles the picture area where the logo appears but makes a blurred area instead. Damm those TV stations someone started it a while ago and now it is the norm. My thought is just live with it I would not trim the frame size to get rid of it you would loose to much picture detail. My thoughts anyhow.
thank you both. I really appreciate the answers. Now that I have had time to think about it, there prob is no way to remove it for it is in the signal that I recorded. Thank goodness it isn't very obtrusive. Only one has one of those computer sounds the dut dut dut, but I have to live with that. thanks again and this thread is closed I guess. Happy recording. -roo
