Removing Timecode with Virtual Dub

    Hello All,

    I was hoping to get some info and help on removing time code from video I have dubbed the video file first (which I hope was the right thing to do ) after that I am a bit lost. My Apologies I am new to the virtual dub software. Any help will be great.

    Get logoaway filter (Google it).
    Open virtualdub.
    Load part 1. (File, open).
    Load part 2. (file, append avi segment).
    Load part 3. (same as part 2)
    Load part 4. (same as part 2 if your version includes 4 parts).
    Select video, filters, add, logoaway, click OK.
    Hilight logoaway, click Configure.
    Make it look exactly like this:

    You may have to adjust the X,Y position, and X,Y size a bit.

    HI, just used ur guide to remove the timeclock off an AVI, works amazing thanks alot. The only problem now is that the actual file size is huge, how to i now recompress this back down to about 700mb?? Any help appreciated. thanks

    Before saving, select Video, compression, and choose a codec.
    DivX or Xvid are good.
    If you're going to make a DVD, just encode the huge file you have now, as it retains the quality of the original. A further compression will not.
