hello how can i rename song for ipod from itune,now i have ipod and a lot of songs inside. now i want rename song , plz help
Right click on the song you wish to rename. Then a window will be pop up. Click the info tab. Rename the file in the 'Name' list. At last click 'OK'
I have transferred most of my music on my iPod, and in turn I deleted the files on my pc as it was consuming too much space. But now i need to ammend the details of the music. How do I change the file name and other stuff in the library if ive deleted the files from the computer. iTunes doesnt allow me to edit the names unless the file can be found. Any suggestions?
It won't let you play or tranfer those songs onto your iPod either if they are deleted on the computer, as iTunes is only an interface using the music files on your computer. You will need to retrieve those files somehow to play/rename/tranfer to iPod. ;-)
thats going to be a pain in the A%&. Ive got them on disk but cant be bothered wasting all that time and effort again. If i knew this before i deleted them, i would have left them on my computer. Thanks for responding jazo.
