Replace Xbox 360 DVD Drive without the original drive or key

    Hi guys unfortunately i was stitched up by a seller on ebay, i bought an xbox 360 from him which had the wrong DVD drive in it.....

    After a few hours of abusing the seller via email i decided to try and fix it myself but after many attempts i am all out of ideas... (and my head now hurts)

    So i need to be able to swap the DVD drive in the xbox 360 without having the original DVD drive or key....

    Is this possible?     i am quite happy opening, soldering, programming or whatever is necessary to get my xbox 360 back up and running otherwise i am stuck with a glorified door stop
