    Hi,

    recently I've been searching for replacement batteries for my DS(the original DS, not lite) and I've noticed that while there seems to be dozens of brands of high-capacity lite batteries, there doesn't seem to be any high-capacity batteries for the original. Does anyone know if such batteries exist? Alternatively, has anyone tried opening up one of the original packs and replacing the li-on cell contained within? I know it's possible to do so with laptops, so I figure someone has probably tried it with a DS...

    Thanks.

    AFAIK, no, and no.

    It's too much work for very little reward.

    @MaryD7

    He is looking for a high capacity battery. DX only has the 850mah batteries which are only slightly above the stock capacity of 750mah. Hi-capacity batteries for the NDSL are in the 1300+mah range and as far as I know, were never manufactured for the NDS phat.
