epg still not working, any updates available? lfc tv . do you have to reprogram to recieve or will it replace rangers tv automatically? if it needs to be put in manually how do you do it? seem to have lost a couple of chans recently and am afraid to mess with the box in case i mess up. any help appreciated thanks.
Hi dben. Liverpool TV has replaced Rangers in Ireland automatically. You just have to go to Menu, Channel Manager, TV Channel, OK TV channel Manager screen pops up. Scrool down to Rangers TV Press the green button on the remote control and select rename channel. Up pops the Keypad Dialog Box. Use the back arrow at the bottom right on the keypad dialog box to get rid of Rangers TV and then just type in the new name. Exit back to TV screen and you are sorted. To tell how to do a manual search, I have to know what country you are in and to show what frequencies the channels are on. brian ,thanks for reply . ive renamed rangers tv to lfc tv but its saying scrambeled, im hoping its just off the air at the moment. im in dublin on nthell.your doing some sterling work on this forum my friend ,fair play to you.if lfctv wont come in of its own accord what can i do?. also do you hav any info on the epg? ive upgraded the software thru the null modem cable some time ago but lost the epg in the process. cheers mate.
Hi dben, I am in Dublin 9 and my Liverpool Tv is on at the moment 8.40pm Some parts of Dublin are having trouble on that channel frequency 394. If you are on liverpool tv, press the list ok button on your remote control. In the bottom corner of the window that pops up, you it should read ch187 fr3940(v) These are the correct settings for Liverpool TV. If this is not the case you can do a manual search for it. To do a manual search on the replay box for Liverpool Tv in Dublin. Menu, User Installation, Manual Search….OK Up pops the Manual Search box. Channel number: CH 1. Frequency: 394 Symbol Rate: 6875 Constellation: 64 QAM. Search By Network: ON. Search The box will find a number of channels on your selected frequency. When the search is finished, Select VIEW.The new channels will be now stored at the bottom of your channel list. Eg:If you already had 120 channels stored, the new ones will be stored from 121 onwards. The manual search will find some channels you already have, just delete them Go to menu,Channel Manager, TV Channel and use the green edit to move, delete or rename the channel list. Hi dben, The last software we got was 7.52 and this is missing "the detail Info" but when you press the epg button you should at least be able to read what's on, time wise and title. Another way is to press the info button on the remote control. When the new software becomes available it will be posted on the main replay lite page http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/60/502990#3428443 Make sure you have the correct Date and time in Menu,Timer,Time Adjust as sometimes this effects the epg. Nhell are doing upgrading in different area's, so some people are having problems getting channels on 394. It can also depend on the connection in a particular room. Hi Brian, Fair play to yah for the list above, have realised all the channels I'm missing are on frequency 402, so will follow your instructions and try a manual search on that frequency and see how I get on. (Life is tough without TVX lol)
Hi plascebo, Some channels have gone completely, abc 1 and jetix are no longer available. I just did a full scan and those are the only one's gone and no other new one's found. God luck with your search.
