After I have played my backup disc for a few hours my games locks up and says dirty disc. What causes this to happen? I have v1.0 xbox with xenium gold sp and unleashx.

I use Fujufilm color discs, Maxell, and Sony. It did it on NBA Baller Phenom, Tomb Raider Legend, and King Kong so far but I think it does it if I play for like 2 hours or more. I can't figure out why it does this during play. It doesn't do it with originals, just backups

If other media doesnt work, it may mean your XBOX DVD Rom's laser Lense is acting up and needs a replacement. As a v1.0 xbox is many years old and probably has had alot of use. Might be something to look into, if other media and original disc's start doing this to you as well.
