    after googling for quite a while, people have had problems with the avc codec that it uses, but I own juno which uses avc and plays flawlessly, so

    systemspecs:
    Vista64bitultimate/Xp32bitprofessional
    e6750 @2.66ghz
    8800gts 640mb
    4gigs of ram @ ddr2-800
    Lite-on DH-4O1S
    AnyDVD 6.4.2.0 & powerdvd7/8 (7 for hddvd)

    I have CCCP codec pack installed ad I play my AVC files with either Nero or Media Player classic. They all play just fine.

    just get vlc player and you will be verry happy

    They were Blu-Ray rips, fairly high bitrates though.

    okay, I got it to play in xp fine, just reloaded all the software and drivers and codecs, vista still having some problems i think my vista install is infected, because lately games have been running poorly too, might just reload the vista install.
