Hi guys, I hope this is the right section to post this in. Im having a problem: I've got a .avi file (Xvid-codec). Avi-codec is giving me the following info:

    File : 348 Mb (348 Mb), duur 0:40:41, type AVI, 1 audio spoor(sporen), kwaliteit 52 %
    Video : 313 Mb, 1078 Kbps, 25.0 fps, res. 592*320 (16:9), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Supported
    Audio : 34 Mb, 118 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 cha., 0x55 = Lame MP3, Supported

Sorry for the dutch language in there, but it might give you a better idea about the file. So, I want to burn this to a DVD. I'm using PAL and when I use WinDVD Creator 2 to convert it to DVD-format (VIDEO_TS) and I give the option "DVD (1 hour)", it works perfectly:

But when I want to burn more files on the dvd, I select "DVD (2 hours), it resizes the image:

What can I do about this? Should I resize the original .avi file, or is there something else?

    Thx in advance :)

This sounds like a glitch in the program.
Have you done a test to see if the video is actually resized, or if winDVD is simply showing the wrong thing?
As this is commercial software, have you contacted WinDVD support about this?

Check the properties of the files to see if the resolution has changed. You may also try DivxToDvd (free program) to see if things are better.
Post again if the problem still persists.

Weird... DivxtoDVD is a very stable program (at least for me). Have you tried re-installing perhaps?

If you begin by converting avis using DivxToDvd and it works, then try not use WinDVD Creator at all, but use something like Nero for the final burning instead.
    Good luck!
