So i have 2 monitor of the same brand and model (specifically a Dynex DX-24L200A12) and I have the graphics card nvidia 770 super clock model. 1 monitor is ran via DVI, and 1 via HDMI. When I turn on my computer the monitor connected to the HDMI is running at 1080p while the one connected to DVI is running at 1920x1080 at 60hz. I thought they are same resolution but the monitor running with DVI looks perfectly crisp but it looks "centered" because theres 2 black gap on the left and right. The monitor connected to HDMI is at full screen but is a bit blurry. I have checked the over/underscan with the monitor with the HDMI. But such option doesn't exist for the one with DVI one.. am i doing something wrong?
I'm not familiar with Dynex monitors, but based on a quick Google search it's an LCD TV rather than a computer monitor, so you're right in looking at overscan settings. According to the user manual there's no dedicated DVI-port, so I assume you're using a HDMI-DVI cable? You should use the HDMI1 port with a HDMI-DVI cable. Overscan settings should be available under the advanced picture settings menu. The issue is most likely caused by your computer detecting the monitor wrong and using incorrect settings for it. You might want to connect just one monitor to begin with, and try to get the settings right for that one first. 1920x1020 @60Hz should be a suitable resolution, so as long as you can get rid of all the overscan and other picture mode settings that might affect the picture quality, you should be good.
