I have a Panasonic PV-GS9 digital camcorder. Yesterday I got a firewire card and a cable to record my movies from miniDVs to PC. I tried using Windows Movie Maker however I was unable to record at a higher resolution than 320*240 and as you can guess the video quality is total crap. What should I do to increase the recording resolution? ( Windows Movie Maker does not let me choose a higher resolution . ) Thank you very much for your help and have a great day ! smi
zeenrod: read this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread view.cfm/95632 would be a good idea to read the VirtualDub Manual before the capture. I haven't seen one in english, but there is a manual in spanish at: http://www.videoedicion.org in the "Manuales" section Happy capture!!
what program are you using? If you're using Window Movie Maker then you can set the setting to others... then chose higher quality for higher resolution. if ure using another program then i have no clue... good luck!
