MY PROBLEM- i softmodded my xbox with SID (soft mod installer deluxe)I backed up my C drive i have it on my PC i have a MOD folder a PPF folder and a MS folder. I am running unleash x. After research i have not found a way to get on xbox live with a softmodded xbox in fact everytime i try to sign in i get sent back to my unleashx menu.So since i cant get on Xbox live i want to restore my Xbox to original and get a chip and put a larger hardrive in it.For some reason i rember reading that if i turn my xbox on and left the drive open it would take me to the soft mod menu but i cant get to it anymore. So i am very lost in what to do.If anyone could give me complete instructions on how to get my xbox back to normal and what chip to get and a compatibale hard drive about a 120GB and what order to do all this in. HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRICATED my aim is xxfurrypandaxx
first off to get on live with a softmodded xbox there was 2 things you should have did.. 1.have an account on the xbox before softmodding it. 2.choose the dual-boot option (eject=retail) now to restore just put the game you softmodded with back in and do just that.....but you dont need a chip to go onlive...
