I was just wondering.. What does the retail version have that the OEM doesn't?? I was thinking on getting a 500Gb Western Digital Hard Drive.. Does it make a difference...?

the retail comes with a sata cable, a longer warranty and a nice box. oem comes wrapped in antistatic bubble wrap with nothing else. the advantage of oem is that is is cheaper. i buy all my drives oem.

Yes, but people building new PCs also get new motherboards, and motherboards come with free S-ATA cables, so they don't need any to come with the hard drive.
