    Iam a month old a newbie by reading the forum i am able to use dvd shrink and decrypter to shrink and burn dvd right away my problem is when I save it on my harddrive I am unable to retrive and burn on dvd+r blank disk HELP Please I am new With Computing too and thank you all

    Well, for starters you need to tell us some system info:

    1. CPU
    2. RAM
    3. OS
    4. Hard Drive Format (NTFS or Fat32)
    5. Free Hard Drive Space
    6. What do you mean by unable to retrieve? You mean you can't find it with DVD Decrytper? Did you save it to an ISO file or a regular DVD format Video_TS file structure?

    We need Details man!!!

    my cpu Inspiron 8600,Ram 512mb,333mhz,60gb hd ntfs,winxp home edition 4xdvd+rw cyberlink software decoding for dvd drives.
    I made a folder on C:\called my dvd files ,I save my movies in it and watch them through a programe called Power DVD ,the (format DVD video_ts file) Please forgive me I dont know much All i know is With The dvd movie in the drive I open Shrink follow prompt then backup, at the end it asks if I want to Burn on blank then I just close it I watch the movie on my harddr.just dont know how to bring it and burn it on blank disk

    Hey Rich,

    If you want to burn to disc, after you use shrink to rip to your hard drive, you use decrypter to write back to your blank disc.. You can set shrink up to open decrypter automatically ..

    yeah rich, if u burn on the fly, no folder to retrieve from. just a temp to work out of. Doesn't fix your problem, but might be a way around it. [
