Ricoh or Ritek, that is the question

Back in May last year (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/34415) there was a forum discussing Ricoh and Ritek DVD media. Are Ricoh DVD+R made by Ritek? The answer seems to be yes. That is probably why I can buy them at about the same price and have had no burn problems (DVD decypter, DVD shrink, Nero 6.3.02). (Sydney Australia)

There is quite a lengthy discussion if anyone is interested at the sites http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread/t-83719.html and http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread/t-85885.html.

As a side point, when I tried to post to the previous forum I got a message saying as a Newbie or Junior Member I could not post to a forum older than 60 days. Fair enough. But how does one become elevated to the higher levels of Afterdawn?

The answer to your last question - hang around, contribute to the forum and help others with your posts. Somewhere around 100 to 150 posts will earn you a "Member" title. :D

You should realize that all the people that were in that thread will be contacted when you post to it. Not all of them are looking forward to re-living an 8 or 9 month's old train of thought.(I thought only my wife had perfect memory that long ago.) Trust me, I did the same thing when I was, where you are now. :) lol

Guess what?, (I know, now he's sayin', "all right, What ?")

Hanging around here can lead to learning stuff - Fancy that ?

Ooohhhh, me ? Tell ya what Noel, you can find me over there, yea, right there, by the water cooler -

    Catch ya there later -
