rid of using other tools for each job

    Hi everybody!

    I just registered, so I hope anyone can help me with my problem.
    As said in the subject, I get rid of using several tools for audio work. What I'm lookin for is an all-in-one tool that can

    - play audio files (basically mp3s)
    - rip audio CDs (maybe DVDs, too)
    - convert audio formats (f.e. wav to mp3)
    - burn audio CDs or DVDs

    I used to do this with several tools like EAC and Nero, but none of these satisfied me. Could you please give me an advice? Doesn't have to be freeware, as long as it's really good! ;)

    Welcome to the board!

    I can totally understand your problem. I was looking for a tool like that, too.
    Well, I'm happy with AudioJack 2:
    It can handle all of your wishes, and it can play and record internet radios as well. Maybe you'd like to have a look:

    Another 1 you might want to look into is dbPoweramp. The site say's it's "The Swiss Knife of Audio"

    Audacity is a good freeware program that works well.
