Ripping a music cd

Hello, I have no clue on how to rip a music cd to my harddrive. What program do I need and could anyone point me to a guide? Thanks a lot.

Check out my list. [bold]dBPowerAMP[/bold] and [bold]EAC[/bold] are the best two CD-Rippers I have come-across.

i agree with diabolos. db poweramp is one of the best mp3 encoders.

find encoders that uses lame or fraunhofer.
