Hi, 1) I would like to rip all my music from CD's onto my HDD. Can someone please link me to program that can allow me to do this in the quality I choose (192kbps, 256kbps, etc.) I realize that there's thousand of programs out there that do this, but I would like to know what you guys are using. 2) Can someone recommend me a good audio player that doesn't take up much system resources, but still has bells and whistles like the visualizations and so on. Right now, I'm using WMP (i know, it sucks lol). I tried WinAMP, but wasn't THAT impressed as I thought I would be. thank you.
Exact Audio Copy is good for ripping. Lame is the Best MP3 encoder available. I would recommend saving a lossless copy of the audio if you have the space in case the discs are damaged. VLC and Media Player Classic are good at playback.
