I've got a DVD-R that has photos with music. I would like to rip it to my computer and then burn it. When I put the DVD in the drive, it immediately goes to the first picture. There is no menu except for "next slide", "pause", "full screen", and "volume." There is an "About Photodex Presenter" which reads: Photodex Presenter, ProShow Web Plug-in. Version 3,00,0,1935. Is there any way to rip this DVD? There's much discussion about ripping protected movies........can you rip protected photos? Thanks-MrsS (newbie that needs guidance)
I don't think there is ever any protection on a burned DVD. I have only one DVD made by this program and it can be ripped with the likes of DVDFab HD Decrypter Run DVDFab, insert disk, select 'Full Disk' http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm Note, I haven't tried, but I'm sure that Nero (if you have it)would copy the disk without problems.
